And sunscreen is part of the problem. It's estimated that 14,000 Tonnes land in our oceans every year. Yet reefs play a crucial role in the health of our planet; they are the nursery of our oceans and belong to the most diverse ecosystems we have.
Our collaboration with Coral Guardian supports the reforestation of damaged coral reefs in Indonesia. By working together with the local population, we support conservation over the long term so that coral and fish stocks can recover. We believe this idea is worth supporting and therefore give a portion of our sales directly to Coral Guardian.
